GORD DOWNIE AND CHANIE WENJACK FUND

As a business who thrives on Indigenous People’s land, Active International Canada proudly supports the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund. As part of this program, Active provides financial support and has designated one of our meeting rooms as an official Legacy Space. It also represents a safe space to open dialogue about all matters of Diversity with our teammates and anyone who enters the space.

ACTIVE INCLUSIVITY SCHOLARSHIP

We are doing our part to encourage more diverse representation in the advertising industry and underscore our commitment to Diversity Inclusion & Belonging for all. In 2021 we launched two scholarships to minority and equity-seeking groups in the Humber College Media Management Program – including people from LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC communities as well as people with disabilities. These scholarhsips were created by fundraising efforts from our team and matched by Active International Canada. We hope these funds can be of help to a student in need and attract underrepresented talent to our media community.

FOOD BANKS CANADA

Involved has been a supporter of Food Banks Canada for a number of years. Involved Canada has donated volunteer time, media, funds and thousands of pounds of food and necessities to assist the Food Bank,
through team food drives and inventory donations.
